Forensic imaging is a relatively new addition to forensic sciences investigation. It is used by forensic researchers for advanced visualization. Examiners also look for trauma and pathology to find missing key pieces of evidence that are not seen by the naked eye.

Jerry Conlogue, Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at Quinnipiac University said, “As a radiographer, my challenge is to get the best possible image of the object, in this case, it was a Hyoid bone.”

Watch this on-demand webinar on how Jerry used the KUBTEC® PARAMETER® 3D X-ray system to solve the mystery behind the “Fractured Hyoid Bone” while also identifying the key difficulties faced by medical examiners and forensic anthropologists.

The unique thing about this system is I can get a photograph that can match an X-ray.
